If you love baseball then you can’t leave town without “catching” a ball game at Miller Park. The Brewers have made quite the turnaround over the last few years and their lineup features some of the most exciting players in baseball, making for an energetic game. Start off the event by gathering your friends and family to tailgate before the game by cooking out and playing games.

Milwaukee Museums

Milwaukee has so much to do that even the locals can sometimes feel like visitors in their own city. It truly has something for everyone. If you’re looking for a way to spend they day, Milwaukkee is home to a wide range of museums. A few of the larger ones include the Harley Davidson Museum, the Milwaukee Public Museum, and the Villa Terrace Art Museum just to name a few.

Brewery Tours

If you’re looking for a true local Milwaukee experience, checking out of the many breweries is the way to do it. A local favorite is Lakefront Brewery. The brewery offers tours throughout the week and provides a wide selection of well-crafted and refreshing beers.

Other suggestions include Milwaukee Brewing Company, Mobcraft Brewery, Great Lake Distillery and Sprecher Brewery.

The Historic Third Ward

Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward has something for everyone and is popular among Milwaukee natives for that reason. Historically, it’s known as the art and fashion district, but it also boasts a wealth of breweries, shops and great places to eat and drink. The best way to experience the Third Ward is by just walking down city blocks full of unique stops.

Third Ward Shopping

There’s plenty of shopping to accomplish in Milwaukee’s Third Ward. One suggestion would be Access Boutique. This is a great little store that features all of the latest looks and trends in the fashion world, at an affordable price. This is a favorite shopping stop among the Milwaukee locals.

A Cheesy Stop

The Wisconsin Cheese Mart is the perfect place to take a break from your tour. This little shop has been around for decades and offers more than 150 types of cheese. And don’t forget to try one of their many choices of cheese curds! These gooey snacks alone are enough to justify a return trip to Milwaukee.

The Public Market

The Milwaukee Public Market is a two-story market that offers food, drinks, coffee, and shopping. We challenge you to try walking out empty handed. The Market also offers unique classes such as an Intro to Hand Lettering Workshop, Farm to Table classes and even a Tequila Mixology class.

Downtown Milwaukee

The Milwaukee Public Market leads you right into Downtown Milwaukee. Downtown is heavily populated with restaurants and bars.  A local suggestion to explore it all is to walk along the Milwaukee Riverwalk. Traveling this way is a great way to find Milwaukee favorites to stop and grab a drink and a bite to eat.
